Hello instructors!

I have read a few times that Chesed is South, and Geburah is North, but I have heard from you guys that Chesed is North and Geburah is South. Could you help me understand why or how Chesed could be South and Geburah could be North? Or is this just an erroneous mistake?

Much thanks
The Sephirah Geburah on the left side of the tree of life is under the domination of Samael the King of Fire. Fire is always related to the south and water to the north. Chesed is the Ruach Elohim that in the beginning was hovering upon the face of the waters.

When the north sea [Chesed] is frozen it continues so until the advent of the south wind [of Geburah] with its heat and warmth. The rivers and streams [of Chesed, the North] then begin to flow again towards [Geburah] the south and from their waters, the beasts of the field [of the West], as scripture saith, do quench their thirst. - Zohar
